Meet our customers

Great saffron starts with great growers

At Roco Saffron, we support farmers by visiting their fields, sharing expertise, and ensuring they get the best Crocus sativus bulbs for success. Meet some of the amazing saffron farmers we proudly work with!

Pennsylvania, USA

Amish saffron success

We're proud to have Amish customers who’ve been growing top-quality saffron for generations. Since they’re hard to reach by phone, we visited them in person—and we’re thrilled to have helped them expand into large-scale saffron production over the years.

Kelseyville, USA

America’s largest crop

At Peace & Plenty Farm in Kelseyville, Melinda Price grows North America’s largest saffron crop—on just a quarter acre! With half a million plants and a patient harvest, their yield increases yearly as the corms multiply.

Quebec, Canada

Micheline’s passion

Micheline Sylvestre from Emporium Safran planted her first bulbs in 2014—and within weeks, the first flowers bloomed! Since then, her saffron fields have expanded each year, supplying high-quality Crocus Sativus across Canada.

Bulgaria

Elena's saffron farm

Elena has been growing her saffron farm in Bulgaria for years, and we're thrilled to see her expanding her crop season after season with our premium bulbs!

Catalunia, Spain

Ramon’s saffron quality

Ramon Palau Caralt has been growing ecological saffron in Sarral, Spain (Catalunya) for years. We always learn from his expertise, and his 'Azafrans Tulua' saffron is truly top-quality—we’ve tested it ourselves!

Sicily, Italy

Fields of (red) gold

In the early Sicilian morning, the first saffron flowers are picked, marking the start of a promising harvest. Luciano Labruzzo’s Rossocorleone produces exceptional saffron, bringing top-quality flavors straight from Sicily. Let the harvest begin!

Segarra, Spain

The new generation

Roger from Safran La Segarra S.L. is a young grower bringing innovation to saffron farming. Using a specialized tube planting system for optimal spacing, he’s off to a strong start. After a successful first harvest, we’re planning his expansion to 2 hectares!
